After more than a decade of silence, the Argentine singer-songwriter returns with an EP inspired by the greatness of a Father who runs to meet the son.
Daniel Olalla, from the province of Mendoza, grew up among strings, keyboards and songs. In his home, music was always present, not only artistically, but also from a ministry perspective: choir directors, worship leaders and ministers who shared a fresh message through music. It was clear he would continue that legacy.
Tuvo formación académica, pero su búsqueda espiritual lo llevó más allá de lo técnico y comenzó a traducir en melodías cada vivencia con Dios. En 2010, poco después de casarse con Nabila, lanzó su primera producción, «Mira al Cielo», que lo llevó a giras en Brasil y a versiones en portugués de varias de sus canciones.
The arrival of his children, Kadima and Lorenzo, led him into a deep time of intimacy with God and to reconsider his priorities. He chose to stop his musical debut when everything indicated he was at the gates of a rising career, and to wait for God's direction.
«I understood that my most urgent calling was not on a stage or under a spotlight, but in my relationship with God and in my family. To be a friend of God, a pastor to my family, a present father and husband, was the most important work I had in my hands».
It was in that apparent silence that he found something the stages could not give him: depth, intimacy and purpose. There he understood that composing is not merely an artistic act, but an intimate conversation with God, a prayer turned into song.
Fui Hallado is the fruit of that path: six songs that do not speak of someone perfect, but of someone who, even broken, decided to return. Before finding the way back, God was already coming to meet us.
